Designed atop a pre-existing foundation, challenged the layout to allow for open living spaces and full connection to the lake. Twin peaks of familiar gable forms reduce the scale of the full two-story home. Shingle style architecture and simplicity of Scandinavian form influence the presence on the lake. Windows have utmost importance to welcome the lake into the living spaces, playfully exposing the view with diverse window patterns and drama.
