By adding just four feet to the kitchen, the existing space was completely reconfigured to include an island with seating for 4, a pantry and ample working space for the cook. The modest addition provides a sophisticated powder room attached to a mudroom that includes a space for the family cat. Access to the deck, backyard and daylight is accomplished by a new wall of french doors and windows, all detailed to harmonize with the existing craftsman home.
